Commemoration of School's 26th Anniversary / 'World Smile Day'
On Friday, 4th October, TIS commemorated its 26th anniversary alongside 'World Smile Day' in a vibrant celebration of joy, gratitude, and community spirit.
From its beginnings as the Takoradi Learning Centre in 1998, TIS has grown alongside the community it serves. Its 26th anniversary was a moment to reflect on that journey and appreciate the people who make school life meaningful.
World Smile Day brought a fitting theme to the occasion: joy, kindness and connection. Marking the two occasions together placed community spirit at the heart of the anniversary.
The celebration offered a reminder that education is about more than academic milestones. A sense of belonging, gratitude and care for one another is also part of the TIS story.
